29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Shop: a) Wysong Sheer: The blade was not adequately guarded where the opening at the point of operation was greater then 1/2 inch. b) Kalamazoo Horizontal Band Saw: The unused portion(18 inches) of the saw was not guarded. c) The Sander: The rotating shafts, and ingoing nip points were not guarded.
