29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system nor were they provided with an alternative fall protection measure meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502.  At the jobsite located at 1607 South Ellis, Wichita, KS:  Employees engaged in residential roofing activities from a 8 in 12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet from the eave of the residence to the ground below in that fall protection system was not utilized.
