29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(viii): Portable fire extinguishers were not inspected periodically in accordance with maintenance and use of portable fire extinguishers, N.F.P.A. No. 10A-1970: a) On or about February 14, 2017, and at times prior to, an employee operated the rubber tire backhoe in paving operations with a discharged portable fire extinguisher mounted on it, exposing the employee to burns, abrasions and sprain in case of fire emergency.
