29 CFR 1910.23(c)(3): Every open sided floor or platform regardless of height, open-sided floors, walkways, platforms or runways above or adjacent to dangerous equipment, pickling or galvanizing tanks, degreasing units, and similar hazards shall be guarded with a standard railing and toe board. (a) Within the area of production; the platform access to the blender was not equipped with adequate guard rails to protect employees from falling into or on parts within the blender.
