29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, form or scrap lumber with protruding nails was not kept clear from work areas:    On or about 2/16/17 located at 5086 Copse Dr., Augusta, GA:  Employees were observed installing lumber on the roof of a new house that was under construction; while not keeping the ground area around the house where the employees are walking on top of the lumber that had several places with protruding nails and no housekeeping.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  On or about 2/16/17 located at 5086 Copse Dr., Augusta, GA: Employees were observed installing lumber with a pneumatic nail gun and cutting lumber with a skill saw for the roof of a new house that was under construction without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   On or about 2/16/17 located at 5086 Copse Dr., Augusta, GA:  Employees were exposed to falls and struck- by hazard by hazard from 10 - 16- feet from the lower level, while preforming framing work from the make shift scaffolds 2 X 10 lumber. The employer failed to install guard rails and it was not fully decked.    JJT& Framing, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926. 501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1191777, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 2/1/17, with respect to a workplace located at 6055 Clifford St., Augusta, GA.

JJT& Framing, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926. 501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1191777, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 2/1/17, with respect to a workplace located at 6055 Clifford St., Augusta, GA.
