29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Employees performing framing work at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer failed to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard as demonstrated on February 17, 2017, at Lot 128, 6415 Berkdale Way, Suwanee, Georgia, when employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13.4-feet to greater than 21.5-feet when they worked at the unprotected edges and top plate of a house without using fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about February 17, 2017, at Lot 128, 6415 Berkdale Way, Suwanee, Georgia: Six employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11.5-feet when they used an aluminum extension ladder that was not raised three feet above the second floor landing.
