29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.    a.  On or about February 27, 2017, at the site located at 6015 Bluestone Way, Lewis Center, Ohio, employees were painting exterior trim on a new two story residential multiple unit condominium building from the lower level roof with a pitch of approximately 4 in 12 and approximately 9 feet in height without fall protection, thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard.

On or about February 27, 2017, at the site located at 6015 Bluestone Way, Lewis Center, Ohio, employees used Werner self-supporting ladders in the closed position, for which they were not designed, to paint exterior trim from the lower level roof of a new two story residential multiple unit condominium building, therefore exposing employees to a fall hazard.

On or about February 27, 2017, at the site located at 6015 Bluestone Way, Lewis Center, Ohio, employees used  unsecured Warner self-supporting ladders on an unlevel, sloped roof with an approximately 4 in 12 pitch to paint exterior trim on a new two story residential multiple unit condominium building, therefore exposing employees to a fall hazard.
