The employer had not complied with the provisions of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1)(i) in that the:  (a)  4718 S. Acoma St, Englewood CO: On or about March 9, 2017, and at times prior, 2 employees were exposed to cave-in hazards while working in an excavation 8.5 feet deep and 2 feet wide. The protective system in place did not comply with the manufacturer's tabulated data in that only one hydraulic shore was installed.  The manufacturer's tabulated data states that 2 hydraulic shores are required to protect employees.  Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
