On or about March 29, 2017, Communications Hallway:  The directional EXIT sign mounted on the wall in the hallway was not illuminated.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:   A.  On or about March 29, 2017, Big Room: Small Schiess vertical turning lathe, #971:  An movable section in the protective guard left an opening 35 inches wide and 26 inches high, 33 1/2 inches from the floor.  The rotating parts were located 12 inches in from the opening.
