29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph     a) On or about March 28, 2017; roof area; an employee was standing on the rafters of a residential house without fall protection in place to prevent him from falling an estimated 35 feet to ground level; demolition.    b) On or about March 28, 2017; throughout first and second floor; employees were exposed to unguarded floor openings, 10 feet above lower level, while conducting demolition work on the residential home.    c) On or about March 28, 2017; first floor; the stairs leading to the second floor were not properly guarded exposing employees to a 10-foot hazard.      In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
