29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: a) On or about April 6, 2017 at 577 Falling Water Blvd, Lot 14, Daphne, Al: The employer failed to ensure proper access was provided for employees installing rafters in that a six foot fiberglass step ladder was leaning against wall section. The step ladder is required to be fully opened and the spreader devices locked into position to prevent the ladder from slipping out from under the employee.
