29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour:  A.)  Transportation Equipment Supply Company, 8106 Hawthorne Drive, Erie, PA 16509, fabrication area, on or about April 5, 2017 and times prior thereto:  Fuel gas cylinders, including, but not limited to, propane cylinders were stored within one-foot of oxygen cylinders.  The cylinders were not separated by a noncombustible barrier.

Transportation Equipment Supply Company, 8106 Hawthorne Drive, Erie, PA 16509, fabrication area, on or about April 5, 2017 and times prior thereto:  A propane cylinder in storage was not equipped with a valve protection cap.  The propane cylinder was threaded to accept a valve protection cap.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:  A.)  Transportation Equipment Supply Company, 8106 Hawthorne Drive, Erie, PA 16509, machine shop area, on or about April 5, 2017 and times prior thereto:  Employees used compressed air to clean off metal chips and coolant from parts and machines including, but not limited to, the OKK VM53R vertical machining center.  The air pressure at the tip of the air nozzle was 70 psi.  B.)  Transportation Equipment Supply Company, 8106 Hawthorne Drive, Erie, PA 16509, machine shop area, on or about April 5, 2017 and times prior thereto:  Employees used compressed air to clean off metal chips and coolant from parts and machines including, but not limited to, the OKK VM5III vertical machining center.  The air pressure at the tip of the air nozzle was 60 psi.
