29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a)  On or about April 19, 2017, and times prior thereto, employee(s) were exposed to caught-in hazards while operating industrial sewing machines that were not equipped with finger guards at the following locations:              i. North side, Sewing Floor, Second Row, Station 1- Brother sewing machine.             ii. North side, Sewing Floor, Second Row, Station 2- Brother sewing machine.             iii. North side, Sewing Floor, Second Row, Station 2- Juki sewing machine.             iv. Northwest side, Forum Jacket area, Station 4- Juki sewing machine.             v. Southeast side, Arjo Station -Brother sewing machine.             vi. Southwest side, Sewing floor, First Row, Station 4- Brother sewing machine.             vii. Southwest side, Sewing floor, First Row, Station 5- Brother sewing machine.  (b) Sewing Floor, All Stations: On or about April 19, 2017, employee(s) were exposed to struck-by hazards from the operation of Brother Sewing Machines and Juki Sewing Machines without eye protection covers to prevent eye injuries from broken needles.
