29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, shall be provided, used, and maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition wherever it is necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation or physical contact. a. On or before April 19, 2017, where employees cooked food using oil deep fryers, personal protective equipment to prevent burns from hot oil were not used, thereby exposing employees to burn contact hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following: a. On or before April 19, 2017, where employees used chemicals at the worksite to include, but not limited to: sanitizer, degreaser, multi-surface cleaner, and cleanser; the employer did not develop, implement, or maintain a written hazard communication, thereby exposing the employees to chemical contact hazards.
