29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  (a). Worksite located at 3100 S. National Ave., Springfield, Missouri- Employees were using nail guns and sledge hammers to secure the wood sheets down on the roof and were not wearing any means of eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a). Worksite located at 3100 S. National Ave., Springfield, Missouri- Employees were working on the top level of the building and were putting on wood sheathing without the use of any means of fall protection.
