29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with this section: a) 259 Leominster-Shirley Rd., Lunenburg, MA; On or about April 24, 2017, an employee was observed working in an excavation that was more than 5 feet deep with no system to protect that employee from a cave-in. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
