29 CFR 1910.22(b): The employer did not ensure that each walking-working surface can support the maximum intended load for that surface. a) Building 1436, Warehouse: On or about 04/17/2017, the mezzanine floor used for storage of various equipment and supplies, the maximum intended floor load was not specified. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Building 1436: On or about 03/21/2017, an employee accessed a mezzanine to get firefighting gear and was not provided with fall protection, as a result the employee was exposed to an 8.5 feet fall hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
