29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: (a.) Saw Area: On or about 6/14/17, the employer exposed employees to continuous noise at 400% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8hours time weighted average) or an equivalent sound level of 100 dBA during the 180 minutes sampling period. The exposure calculation included a zero increment for the 300 minutes not sampled. The initial baseline sampling was not conducted by the employer. (b.) Smecto Area: On or about 6/14/17, the employer exposed employees to continuous noise at 225% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8hours time weighted average) or an equivalent sound level of 95.8 dBA during the 180 minutes sampling period. The exposure calculation included a zero increment for the 300 minutes not sampled. The initial baseline sampling was not conducted by the employer. (c.) Repairman/Builder Area: On or about 6/14/17, the employer exposed employees to continuous noise at 155% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8hours time weighted average) or an equivalent sound level of 93.2 dBA during the 180 minutes sampling period. The exposure calculation included a zero increment for the 300 minutes not sampled. The initial baseline sampling was not conducted by the employer.
