29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a) New residential construction located on Lot #77, Front porch roof: On or about May 11, 2017 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 12-feet while working on a 4/12 pitched roof, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in painting activities.

(a) New residential construction on Lot #77, Front porch roof: On or about May 11, 2017 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards while working from a six foot A-frame ladders in the closed position, resting on a 4/12 pitched roof 12-feet from the lower level, while the employees were engaged in painting activities. (b) New residential construction on Lot #77, Front porch roof: On or about May 11, 2017 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards while working from an eight foot A-frame ladders in the closed position, resting on a 4/12 pitched roof 12-feet from the lower level, while the employees were engaged in painting activities.
