29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c).    On or about May 02, 2017, at the jobsite located on Hwy 27 and Oil Field Road, located in Cameron, Louisiana the employer failed to ensure the employee(s) in the excavation were protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system. An employee was injured when the vertical dirt wall caved in on him.
