29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:    At the jobsite, an employee was guiding and transporting an overhead restaurant sign onto the basket of an aerial lift without wearing a hardhat.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: Note:  As of January 1, 1998, subpart M of this part (1926.502(d)) provides that body belts are not acceptable as part of a personal fall arrest system.  The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated    At the jobsite, an employee was conducting framing activities while operating an aerial lift and did not utilize fall protection attached to an approved anchor point.    J & J Construction Services was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1019536, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/24/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 5103 University Parkway, Natchitoches, LA.
