29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level.    WORKSHOP/UNIT 693:  The hallway from Unit 693 facing south was blocked with numerous empty boxes and the passageway to the exit was not kept clear.

Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse.    WORKSHOP/UNITS 688 AND 690: The firework boxes were not secured to the racking systems in the following units:       1.    Unit 688: Thriller Strawberry Cruz fireworks was not secured to the rack.   2.    Unit 690: Helena Volcano and two boxes of Blunteffeut were leading off the rack and not secured to the rack.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(i): Flexible cords and cables shall be approved for conditions of use and location.    WORKSHOP/STORAGE FACILITY:  The orange extension cord was draped along the floor from an outlet to Unit 692, located under a cart containing boxes of fireworks, traveled overhead into Unit 692 to Unit 693, wrapped around the metal beams in several locations, attached to a white extension cord continuously wrapped around metal beams and attached to the black flexible cord for the lighting.
