29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.    (a) At a residential construction site located at 10042 N Stark Ave in Kansas City, MO: Employees were exposed to potentially serious injuries and/or illnesses in that the employer had not developed, or successfully implemented, an effective safety and health program. The employer failed to train their employees on the recognition of hazards associated with falls as was demonstrated on 6/6/2017 when 4 employees were exposed to fall hazards while working from a roof and had not been trained in the regulations applicable to their work.

This was demonstrated on or about June 6, 2017 at a worksite  located at 10024 Stark Ave, Kansas City, MO.    PINA FRAMING was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) as contained in Inspection: No. 1125877, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 3, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 9206 N. Dawn Ave Kansas City, MO.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a) The employer is failing to provide employee with fall protection when employees were working at elevated heights near an unprotected edge without the use of any protective systems. This was demonstrated on or about June 6, 2017 at a worksite  located at 10024 Stark Ave, Kansas City, MO.    PINA FRAMING was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) as contained in Inspection: No. 1125877, Citation 1, Item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on March 3, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 9206 N. Dawn Ave Kansas City, MO.
