29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(i): The end of a platform 10 feet or less in length extended over its support more than 12 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees and/or materials without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilevered end. Jobsite: Carpenters bracket scaffolding at front of building, north side. A scaffold plank extended over its support by approximately five feet. No provisions had been made to secure the plank and prevent the cantilevered portion from falling if an employee stepped on it.
