29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary.  (a) Location: Browndale Place, Port Chester, NY 10573  Employees were working in trenches up to 4 ft 6 in deep where spoil material was placed within 2 feet of the edge of the trench. The employees were on their knees inside the trenches and were exposed to caught in between hazards. Condition was observed on or about June 28, 2017.
