The outer insulation had separated from the plug end approximately 3 inches, thus exposing the energized conductors.    (b)  Employee(s) engaged in using a green extension cord to power a portable air compressor on the north side of the building located at 11691 South Ridgeview Road, Olathe, Kansas were exposed to electrical hazards due to the extension cord being damaged.  The outer insulation had separated from the plug end approximately 1/2 inch, thus exposoing the energized conductors.
