29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer did not require the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions:  a) 1150 Heller Road, Quakertown, PA, Worksite - on or about July 10, 2017, an employee was performing hot work activities without wearing protective clothing with the ability to minimize the potential for injury from burning materials, trapped hot sparks, or electric shock.  Abatement Note:  Among other feasible means of abatement, the employer may follow the guidelines for welding personal protective equipment as found in ANSI / AWS Z49.1 - 2012, Safety in Welding, Cutting, and Allied Processes, Chapter 4, Protection of Personnel and the General Area.
