29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): The employer did not provide the respirators which were applicable and suitable for the purpose intended: (Construction Reference 1926.103) 434 SILAS DEANE HIGHWAY, WETHERSFIELD, CT On or about July 31, 2017, an employee was observed dry cutting a sidewalk with a concrete cut-off saw. The employee was not wearing respiratory protection. The employer did not provide and require the use of particulate respirators to protect employees from the hazards of crystalline silica when engineering and work practice controls had not been implemented.
