29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(iv): Employees did not always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and were allowed to sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position:    (a) At the jobsite, an employee trimming trees from an aerial lift was standing on the mid rail of the basket, exposing the employee to a fall hazard greater than 10 (ten) feet.    (b) At the jobsite, an employee trimming trees from an aerial lift climbed out of the basket and onto the boom, exposing the employee to a fall hazard greater than 10 (ten) feet.

29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): A personal fall arrest or travel restraint system that meets the requirements of subpart I of this part were not worn or attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift.  At the jobsite, employees trimming trees from an aerial lift were not wearing a personal fall arrest system, exposing the employees to a fall hazard greater than 10 (ten) feet.
