29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  (a) 1060 Zeigler Road, Wellsville Pennsylvania - Employees worked on a roof cutting holes for a ventilation system.  The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system or personal fall arrest systems, on or about August 2, 2017.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
