ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or step of a stepladder was used as a step:      A)  On or about 08/09/17, underneath the roadway of Whitestone Bridge, Queens, NY      The top step of A-frame ladders were used to access platforms 5 to 6 feet above the lower level while performing painting operations under the southbound lane of the Whitestone Bridge. Employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 4 ft. to the lower level.      ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
