OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to a crushing hazard: a) On or about 8/9/17, an employee was using an Altec AT200A extensible boom platform truck to repair a sign. The employee was lying on the upper controls when his body activated the "raise" switch. The bucket went higher and crushed the employee between the sign and the bucket. The interlock "speed" switch was bypassed.
