29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   a.  On or about August 22, 2017, at the site located at 5070-5072 Buffalo Run, Westerville, Ohio, employees were performing roofing work on two story residential townhome building with a pitch of approximately 6 in 12 and up to approximately 20 feet in height without fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard.  Gueros Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1219529 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 602-618 Vista Drive, Gahanna, Ohio.
