Supplies, closet materials, and wood are blocking the route to the doorway.   b) Southern side of the facility near the CNC machine: The employer did not ensure that the exit route is maintained free from obstructions. Supplies, closet materials, and wood are blocking the exit route to the doorway in the facility.   c) Southeast side of facility near the former paint area: The employer did not ensure that the exit route is maintained free from obstructions. A fan is blocking the doorway which is marked as an exit.   Condition observed/noted on/about 23 AUG 2017.

29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3)(i): All places of employment shall be kept clean to the extent that the nature of the work allows:  a) Facility floors behind all equipment: The employer did not ensure that work areas were free from excess materials, including, but not limited to scrap wood, wood debris, and wood dust, thus exposing employees to fire hazards. Floors and walkways in the facility are not kept clean allowing for dust, debris, wood and other flammable and combustible materials to build up.  This condition noted/observed on/about 23 AUG 2017.
