29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:   A.  On or about August 30, 2017, Stock Room:  Boxes of product were placed within the exit route, reducing access to the emergency exit to less than 28 inches in the following locations:  1.  Office/Desk area, access to the emergency exit was reduced to 23 inches by boxes of product brought to the area for inventory scanning and empty cardboard boxes.  2.  In front of file cabinet, a box of product had been placed in the exit route, reducing access to 12 inches.  Forever 21 Retail, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.37(a)(3)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1006976, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 22, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 211Westfarms Mall, Farmington, Connecticut 06032.
