29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely.    The employer failed to ensure that the old layered metal roof at the American U-Stor Storage facility had the structural integrity to support employees performing roofing activity, exposing employees to fall hazards to the concrete below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(viii): The employer did not assure that each employee had been trained by a competent person qualified in the standards contained in subpart M.     The employer working at a storage facility failed to train all employees, including temp employees on the standards involving fall protection in sub-part M who may be exposed to fall hazards.
