OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by flying projectiles: Compressor Room and throughout facility: On or about August 31, 2017, employees were exposed to the hazard of being stuck by flying projectiles, while operating a compressed air blow-off gun to clean metal parts. The compressed air used by this blow-off gun was transported above grade via 1/2" SCH 40 PVC Pipe at an operating pressure of approximately 100 p.s.i.
