29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4): Each employee on walking/working surfaces shall be protected from falling through holes (including skylights) more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes. a- Second Floor, 2 Applegate Drive, Robbinsville NJ: On 09/19/17 company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet to the ground surface below, when working next to and on top of a hole in the floor without the use of fall protection. Condition observed on or about 09/19/17. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
