29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: a.) Wood Shop Area - On or about November 2, 2017, An employee, who was fabricating decking was exposed to continuous noise at 90.2% of the exposure level of 90 dBA or an eight hour time weighted average (TWA) noise exposure of 89.3 dBA. This exposure was observed occurring over a 374 minute sampling period on 11/2/17. A zero exposure was assumed for the 106 minutes not sampled. The employer did not conduct monitoring to determine what requirements from the Noise standard 1910.95 were needed to protect the employees.

Wood Shop Area - On or about November 2, 2017, An employee, who was fabricating decking was exposed to continuous noise at 90.2% of the exposure level of 90 dBA or an eight hour time weighted average (TWA) noise exposure of 89.3 dBA. This exposure was observed occurring over a 374 minute sampling period on 11/2/17. A zero exposure was assumed for the 106 minutes not sampled. The employer did not obtain an annual audiogram for this employee previously tested on February 19, 2016.
