29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person: (a) New townhome construction located on lots 9-16 Golden Rock Lane, Marietta, GA 30067: On or about 10/16/2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards over 22-feet from the lower level, failed to provide protective eyewear while operating pneumatic nail guns, and failed to make repairs on the compressor, in that the employer did not perform frequent and regular inspections of the project and/or employees making sure the roofers were utilizing their PPE, and fall protection.
