Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.502(d)(6)(ii): Snaphooks not designed to be connected to one another were engaged to each other: or in the alternative 29 CFR 1926.502(d)(10)(i): When vertical lifelines were used, separate lifelines were not provided for each employee: a) Roof Anchor - An employee engaged in roofing activities on a steep, eight (8) in twelve (12) pitch roof anchored his vertical lifeline to a rope sling connecting snap hook to snap hook. There was a second vertical lifeline attached snaphook to snaphook on the same rope sling, on or about October 18th, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
