29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):       a)  First Floor, 12th St., NW Side - On or about October 23, 2017, carpenters framing interior walls were exposed to an 11 foot fall for no midtrial had been provided on a set of wooden guardrails.     b)  Second Floor, 12th St., NW Side -  On or about October 23, 2017, carpenters framing interior walls were exposed to an 21 foot fall for no midtrial had been provided on a set of wooden guardrails.     c)  Second Floor, Rear of Building - On or about October 23, 2017, carpenters framing interior walls were exposed to a  11 foot fall from an 8 foot door opening which had not been provided with standard guard rails or any other type of fall protection.    d)  First Floor, 12th St., Street Exposure - On or about October 23, 2017, carpenters framing interior walls were exposed to an 11 foot fall from the side of a ramp which had not been provided with guardrails or any other type of fall protection.     e)  First Floor, Rear Deck -  On or about October 23, 2017, carpenters framing interior walls were exposed to an 11 foot fall from the side of a ramp which had not been provided with guardrails or any other type of fall protection.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail:      a)  First Floor Stairway - On or about October 23, 2017, construction workers using a set of stairs leading from a buildings first to second floors were exposed to a 10 foot fall for the stairs, which had 12 risers, was not provided with a handrail.     b)  Second Floor Stairway - On or about October 23, 2017, construction workers using a set of stairs leading from a buildings second to third floors were exposed to a 10 foot fall for the stairs, which had 12 risers, was not provided with a handrail.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
