ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 ft (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: A) on or about 10/26/17, on the site of 45-28 251st Street. Little Neck, NY Employees were using a portable ladder for gain access to a roof. The ladder side rails extended one foot above the upper landing surface. The employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 20 ft to concrete ground below. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
