29 CFR 1910.242(a): Hand and portable powered tools or equipment were not kept in safe condition: On or about November 20, 2017, at Wooden Specialties, Inc., the employer allowed employees to use pneumatic nail guns (Model # Senco 5FN30) which had the safety bypasses. The safety contact tip was secured by a wire in a position which caused the safety to be inoperable. Employees used the nail gun to assemble wood products.
