Exposure monitoring was conducted by OSHA on 3/08/2018 and 4/24/2018, where the personal exposure of employee performing stripping was measured at 18 ppm as an 8-hour and 120 ppm as a 15-min time-weighted average (TWA). Lacquer-spraying is performed within either of two spraying rooms using lacquer containing butyl acetate, naphtha and toluene.  The employer did not develop nor implement a hazard communication program that provides for Safety Data Sheet (SDS) retention, labels, and training for employees who work with these chemicals..  Condition(s) were noted on or about 1/24/2018.
