29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    Location: 6th floor  On or about: 1/24/18    a) Employees were engaged in masonry, weatherproofing and insulation work. The employees were not protected from falling 47 feet, to the sidewalk shed below.      Location: 7th floor  On or about: 1/24/18    b) Employees were engaged in masonry, weatherproofing and insulation work. The employees were not protected from falling 9' 10" feet, to the 6th floor.          NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
