29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   (a). Worksite located at 100 N. Pleasant St., Independence, Missouri- Employees were observed working and cutting pieces of copper guttering and were not wearing any means of eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   (a). Worksite located at 100 N. Pleasant St., Independence, Missouri- Employee was exposed to a fall hazard in that the employee was working on the edge of the building and was not protected from falling by the use of any means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   (a). Worksite located at 100 N. Pleasant St., Independence, Missouri- Employee was exposed to a fall hazard while accessing and egressing off the roof in which the ladder being used was not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
