29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  At a residential construction site located at 4552 Seneca Terr, Lee's Summit, MO: Employees were exposed to harmful chemicals that could cause injuries and/or illnesses in that the employer had not developed, or implemented, a written hazard communication program. This was demonstrated at the residential construction site when 3 employees were dispensing gasoline for use in powering a air compressor for the pneumatic nail guns.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles:  At the residential construction site located at 4552 Seneca Terr, Lee's Summit, MO:  Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. Employees were engaged in roofing activities with the use of pneumatic nail guns in that eye protection was not provided while installing roofing material.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  At a residential construction site located at 4552 Seneca Terr, Leee's Summit, MO: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees had not been trained on the recognition of fall hazards and the methods necessary to protect employees. One employee was observed wearing a full-body harness but was not secured by a lanyard and rope.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At a residential construction site located at 4552 Seneca Terr, Lee's Summit, MO: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees were performing work on a steep roof and were not protected from falling by the use of guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems.  The JUVENTUS CONSTRUCTION was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 10005287, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 20th, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 11823 E 80th Street, Raytown, MO 64138.
