This was most recently documented on January 31, 2018 at 56265 702 Rd Mahaska, Kansas.  The employer failed to evaluate the employee(s) exposure to internal combustion engine exhaust gases.  Employees used three Hobart Generator/Welders that were each equipped with a Briggs and Stratton, Series 1450 gasoline internal combustion engine.        b) The employer is failing to identify and evaluate respiratory hazards. This was most recently documented on January 31, 2018 at 56265 702 Rd Mahaska, Kansas.  The employer failed to evaluate the employee(s) exposure to welding fumes generated during  welding operations within the hog confinements.  The employees  arc welded via three Hobart Generator/Welder(s) each equipped with a  Briggs and Stratton, Series 1450 gasoline combustion engine.

The employer failed to evaluate the employee(s) exposure to combustion exhaust gases and fumes when conducting welding operations within the hog confinements.  The employees were conducting arc welding utilizing three Hobart Generator/Welder(s) equipped with a 305 cubic centimeter 14.50 foot pounds gross torque Briggs and Stratton, series 1450 gasoline combustion engine.

This was most recently documented on January 31 2018 at 56265 702 Rd. Mahaska, Kansas.  The employer failed to ensure that employees were adequately trained to render first aid while they worked at a job site that was not in near proximity of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital.  Volunteer emergency responders arrived approximately 1 hour following emergency notification. The nearest emergency medical facility was approximately 16 miles from this location.
