29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift. This provision is applicable to construction employment per 29 CFR 1926.59:  The employer is failing to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals while cleaning mortar off bricks.  This was most recently observed at 1212 J St, Auburn, Nebraska on February 14, 2018 when employees were using a chemical to clean bricks and a Safety Data Sheet was not available.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area. This provision is applicable to construction employment per 29 CFR 1926.59:  The employer is failing to protect employees from exposure to chemicals while cleaning masonry.  This was most recently observed at 1212 J St, Auburn, Nebraska on February 14, 2018 when two employees were using a caustic chemical to clean bricks and they had not received training on the hazardous chemicals in their work area.

This was most recently observed at 1212 J St, Auburn, Nebraska on February 14, 2018 when two employees were using a caustic solution to clean mortar and they were not using impervious gloves or eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(3): Machinery, tool(s), material(s), or equipment which was not in compliance with the applicable requirement(s) of 29 CFR 1926 was not prohibited, and/or was not either identified as unsafe by tagging, or locking the controls to render them inoperable, or physically removed from its place of operation:  The employer is failing to protect employees from fire hazards when operating masonry machinery.  This was most recently observed at 1212 J St, Auburn, Nebraska on February 14, 2018 when a cement mixer was observed that had an exposed electrical disconnect adjacent to its fuel tank. The wiring was pulled away from the manufacturer installed on/off switch and being used to short the machine so it would shut down.
